Advice For Our Candidates

It’s no secret that the best candidates get the best offers. The first thing that we’ll need you to do is to come in for an interview. This is a chance for us to get to know each other and understand the type of work that you want, your skills, and your experience.

Here’s a check list of the documentation to bring with you. We recommend that you bring these items neatly presented in a folder.

You’ll need to bring the following:

Identification

Passport or Driving License

A copy of your contact details

Email address, phone number, address and Emergency Contact details

Proof of eligibility to work in the UK

Passport, Residence card/Permit, Full UK Birth & Adoption Certificate

Full birth certificate

With your mother and father’s names or adoption certificate/change of name documents

Employment History

At least 5 years of previous employment information

Proof of National Insurance

HMRC Letter / NI Card / P60 / P45

Certificates/Qualifications

FLT License, Driving License, DQC Card, Digital Tachograph Card, Health and Safety/Training Certificates

An up-to-date CV

Including previous work history, dates at those companies and an overview of your responsibilities

References

Bring along any references that you have

You’ll be asked to present your documentation and it will be scanned and verified. Then you will be required to complete a short registration form before the consultant will conduct the interview.

The interview will explore previous work history, previous skills & qualifications and also find out what sort of work you would be looking for. For some industrial contracts & driving vacancies there is a brief test that you will be asked to complete.

Most of all show enthusiasm, be positive, and enjoy it. Having all of your paper work together and ready before you come will save both of us time and will mean we can get things moving as quick as possible.
